Thea has deep commitment to personal development, holistic lifestyle, wellbeing and transformation. Her self-directed exploration of human nature is framed by analytical psychology, somatic psychotherapy, and Eastern philosophies, which are central to her approach, and the way she perceives the inner world. In the last decade she has explored a diverse array of therapeutic, experiential, and scientific approaches to self study, discovering the efficacy of body and breath centered methods. Through her own gentle evolution Thea has accumulated invaluable experience, and developed a profound understanding of psyche and the inner workings of the body.

Functional Breathwork

Breathing is an automatic process critical to human development and wellbeing, and dysfunctional breathing leads to challenges in emotion, thought, physiology, and behavior. Whilst "breathwork" refers to a variety of breathing techniques, that are used intentionally to influence one's physical, mental, or emotional state, Functional Breathwork is a science-based approach that focuses on optimizing the way we breathe, creating efficient breathing patterns. It emphasizes proper function, mechanics, biochemistry, and psychophysiology of breathing, ensuring it supports your body’s natural rhythms and needs. By optimizing your breathing, you are improving your health and wellbeing across the full spectrum of human functioning, from peak performance to pathological experiences.
